Madam Naomi Boye was born on 28th January 1958 in Nsawam, Ghana, to the late Rev. Emmanuel Boye Martei and Mrs. Beatrice Ayikooley Martei. She was born into the Apostolic Faith Church and was raised in the fear and admonition of the Lord. The Apostolic Faith Church remained her spiritual home throughout her life. Wherever she travelled, she remained steadfast in her faith and faithfully worshipped at a branch of the church until her peaceful departure from this earthly life.
At an early age, she was sent to Takoradi, where she lived with Rev. Ainoo's family at Apremdo. There, she completed her middle school education at Sekondi-Takoradi City Council Middle School, Apremdo, in 1977. Upon completing her education, she returned to Teshie to begin the next chapter of her life.
Owing to the missionary calling of her father, the late Rev. Emmanuel Boye Martei, Madam Naomi Boye spent much of her childhood in different parts of Ghana. Her father devoted his life to spreading the Gospel across the country, and as a result, the family lived in several communities, including Nsawam, Adabraka, Circle, Takoradi, Ada Sege, and many others, before finally settling in Teshie during her young adult years.
In the early 1980s, Madam Naomi Boye was blessed with her first daughter, and in the 1990s, she welcomed her second child. She embraced motherhood with unwavering love and devotion, working tirelessly to provide for her children and ensure their well-being. Above all, she was intentional about raising them in the fear of God. Even on occasions when she was unable to attend church herself, she made every effort to ensure that her children attended worship services. She was determined that they would grow to know, love, and serve the Lord.
After returning home, Madam Naomi Boye assisted her mother in the family's cooked rice business, which was operated from their residence. Through her dedication, diligence, and hard work, her mother eventually entrusted the business to her, and she managed it successfully for several years.
